Strengthening our offer with the launch of Building Consultancy
We’ve expanded our service offering with the launch of a dedicated Building Consultancy team, led by Oliver Thomas.
Oliver joins us with more than 20 years’ experience in building consultancy, having previously led the Northern Building Consultancy team at CBRE. His track record includes advising on some of the region’s most high-profile and award-winning projects, including Hilti at No.1 Circle Square and RCP at The Spine in Liverpool.
The introduction of Building Consultancy marks a natural evolution of our offer, enabling us to provide clients with a more comprehensive, end-to-end service across the lifecycle of their assets.
Oliver brings extensive expertise across asset planning and repositioning, sustainable refurbishment, occupier fit-out, technical due diligence and dilapidations, working across office, industrial and life sciences sectors.
His appointment reflects growing demand from our clients for integrated advice that combines commercial strategy with technical delivery.
Andrew Timms, Director at Edwards, commented: “Bringing Oliver into the business is a significant step for us. His experience, reputation and approach align perfectly with how we work and the level of advice we provide to our clients.
“The addition of Building Consultancy allows us to broaden our offer and support clients more effectively, from initial strategy through to delivery, as we continue to grow.”
Oliver Thomas, Director and Head of Building Consultancy, added: “Edwards has built a strong reputation for providing clear, commercially focused advice and has a genuinely collaborative culture.
“There is a real opportunity to develop a Building Consultancy team that complements this approach and delivers meaningful value for clients. I’m looking forward to building the team and contributing to the next phase of growth.”
Our Building Consultancy team will focus on supporting clients across asset repositioning, refurbishment and development strategies, with plans to grow the service line in response to increasing demand across the North West and beyond.
